Family Vacation 2012: Alaska, Vancouver, & Seattle

My family has a family vacation every summer and the vacations use to be at least 10 hour road trips from the DC area. My dad has driven the family as far as Houston,TX and Minneapolis, MN from DC. Crazy, right? You would think that I wouldn't be so prone to getting car sick by now. We've traveled to most of the Midwest and Eastern part of the country. I've missed out on some vacations since graduating from college and starting a full time job.

This year, my dad planned a last minute Alaskan cruise vacation, and I was lucky that I was able to go. He basically gave me a month to plan and mental prepare for the trip! Everything worked out, except for the fact that my husband couldn't attend because he had to work. Boo.
